महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-240, verse-31

एवमाशा दृढा तस्य धार्तराष्ट्रस्य दुर्मतेः ।
विनिर्जये पाण्डवानामभवद्भरतर्षभ ॥३१॥
31. evamāśā dṛḍhā tasya dhārtarāṣṭrasya durmateḥ ,
vinirjaye pāṇḍavānāmabhavadbharatarṣabha.

31. Thus, O best among the Bharatas, that evil-minded son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra had a firm hope for the complete defeat of the Pāṇḍavas.
