महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-218, verse-43

अयं तस्याः पतिर्नूनं विहितो ब्रह्मणा स्वयम् ।
इति चिन्त्यानयामास देवसेनां स्वलंकृताम् ॥४३॥
43. ayaṁ tasyāḥ patirnūnaṁ vihito brahmaṇā svayam ,
iti cintyānayāmāsa devasenāṁ svalaṁkṛtām.

43. He caused the beautifully adorned Devī Senā to think, 'This man is certainly her husband, ordained by Brahmā himself.'
