महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-218, verse-16

इन्द्रत्वेऽपि स्थितं वीर बलहीनं पराजितम् ।
आवयोश्च मिथो भेदे प्रयतिष्यन्त्यतन्द्रिताः ॥१६॥
16. indratve'pi sthitaṁ vīra balahīnaṁ parājitam ,
āvayośca mitho bhede prayatiṣyantyatandritāḥ.
16. indratve api sthitam vīra balahīnam parājitam |
āvayoḥ ca mithaḥ bhede prayatiṣyanti atandritāḥ
16. O hero, if I, even while being Indra, am seen as weak and defeated, and if a division occurs between the two of us, then those who are diligent will strive to exploit it.
