महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-218, verse-17

भेदिते च त्वयि विभो लोको द्वैधमुपेष्यति ।
द्विधाभूतेषु लोकेषु निश्चितेष्वावयोस्तथा ।
विग्रहः संप्रवर्तेत भूतभेदान्महाबल ॥१७॥

17. bhedite ca tvayi vibho loko dvaidhamupeṣyati ,
dvidhābhūteṣu lokeṣu niściteṣvāvayostathā ,
vigrahaḥ saṁpravarteta bhūtabhedānmahābala.

17. bhedite ca tvayi vibho lokaḥ dvaidham
upeṣyati | dvidhābhūteṣu lokeṣu
niściteṣu āvayoḥ tathā | vigrahaḥ
sampravartera bhūtabhedāt mahābala

17. And, O mighty one, if you are divided, the world will become twofold. When people are thus divided and our positions are clearly established, a conflict will arise among the various beings, O mighty-armed one.

17. וכשיתעורר פילוג, הו אדון, העולם יתפצל לשניים. וכשהעולמות יהיו מפוצלים, וכל צד יהיה בטוח בעמדתו, יפרוץ בינינו סכסוך בגלל הפילוג בין היצורים, הו בעל כוח רב.
