महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-203, verse-31

देवो यः संस्थितस्तस्मिन्नब्बिन्दुरिव पुष्करे ।
क्षेत्रज्ञं तं विजानीहि नित्यं त्यागजितात्मकम् ॥३१॥
31. devo yaḥ saṁsthitastasminnabbinduriva puṣkare ,
kṣetrajñaṁ taṁ vijānīhi nityaṁ tyāgajitātmakam.
31. devaḥ yaḥ saṃsthitaḥ tasmin apbinduḥ iva puṣkare
kṣetrajñaṃ taṃ vijānīhi nityaṃ tyāgajitātmakam
31. Know that divine being (deva) who dwells within it, like a water droplet on a lotus leaf, to be the knower of the field (kṣetrajña), whose nature (ātman) is eternally controlled through renunciation (tyāga).
