प्रवृत्ता हृदयात्सर्वास्तिर्यगूर्ध्वमधस्तथा ।

27. All the ten channels (nāḍī), originating from the heart, extend horizontally, upwards, and downwards. These, impelled by the vital airs (prāṇa), carry the essences of food.
