11. śūdrayonau hi jātasya sadguṇānupatiṣṭhataḥ ,
vaiśyatvaṁ bhavati brahmankṣatriyatvaṁ tathaiva ca.

Indeed, O Brāhmaṇa, for one born in a śūdra family who adheres to good qualities, the state of a vaiśya comes about, and similarly, the state of a kṣatriya also.
