महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-178, verse-41

अभिमानस्य घोरस्य बलस्य च नराधिप ।
फले क्षीणे महाराज फलं पुण्यमवाप्स्यसि ॥४१॥
41. abhimānasya ghorasya balasya ca narādhipa ,
phale kṣīṇe mahārāja phalaṁ puṇyamavāpsyasi.

41. O king, when the fruit of your terrible ego (ahaṅkāra) and power is exhausted, O great king, you will obtain a meritorious reward.
