महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-178, verse-13

तिर्यग्योन्यां पृथग्भावो मनुष्यत्वे विधीयते ।
गवादिभ्यस्तथाश्वेभ्यो देवत्वमपि दृश्यते ॥१३॥
13. tiryagyonyāṁ pṛthagbhāvo manuṣyatve vidhīyate ,
gavādibhyastathāśvebhyo devatvamapi dṛśyate.

gavādibhyaḥ tathā aśvebhyaḥ devatvam api dṛśyate
13. A distinct state from the animal species is prescribed for human existence. Similarly, divinity is also observed in cows and other animals, and in horses.
