मुनींश्च धारयन्तीह प्रजाश्चैवापि कर्मणा ।
वासवाकूटवाहिन्यः कर्मणा सुकृतेन च ।
उपरिष्टात्ततोऽस्माकं वसन्त्येताः सदैव हि ॥२०॥

20. munīṁśca dhārayantīha prajāścaivāpi karmaṇā ,
vāsavākūṭavāhinyaḥ karmaṇā sukṛtena ca ,
upariṣṭāttato'smākaṁ vasantyetāḥ sadaiva hi.

eva api karmaṇā vāsava akūṭa-vāhinyaḥ
karmaṇā sukṛtena ca upariṣṭāt tataḥ
asmākam vasanti etāḥ sadā eva hi

20. O Vasava, these [cows] sustain sages (muni) and also creatures here through their actions (karma). As heavy load carriers, and due to their meritorious (karma), these indeed always dwell above us.
