ऋते दधिघृतेनेह न यज्ञः संप्रवर्तते ।

Without curd and ghee here, no (Vedic) ritual (yajña) can properly take place. Therefore, the very nature of a (Vedic) ritual (yajña) and its origin are observed to be in them (curd and ghee).
