महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-72, verse-3

कर्मभिश्चापि सुशुभैः सुव्रता ऋषयस्तथा ।
सशरीरा हि तान्यान्ति ब्राह्मणाः शुभवृत्तयः ॥३॥
3. karmabhiścāpi suśubhaiḥ suvratā ṛṣayastathā ,
saśarīrā hi tānyānti brāhmaṇāḥ śubhavṛttayaḥ.
3. karmabhiḥ ca api suśubhaiḥ suvratāḥ ṛṣayaḥ tathā
saśarīrāḥ hi tān yānti brāhmaṇāḥ śubhavṛttayaḥ
3. hi suvratāḥ ṛṣayaḥ tathā śubhavṛttayaḥ brāhmaṇāḥ
saśarīrāḥ ca api suśubhaiḥ karmabhiḥ tān yānti
3. Indeed, pious sages and Brahmins (brāhmaṇāḥ) of virtuous conduct, remaining embodied, attain those worlds through very auspicious actions (karma).
