यो वै द्यूते धनं जित्वा गाः क्रीत्वा संप्रयच्छति ।
स दिव्यमयुतं शक्र वर्षाणां फलमश्नुते ॥१७॥

17. yo vai dyūte dhanaṁ jitvā gāḥ krītvā saṁprayacchati ,
sa divyamayutaṁ śakra varṣāṇāṁ phalamaśnute.

17. Indeed, whoever wins wealth through gambling, buys cows, and then donates them, O Śakra, he attains a divine reward for ten thousand years.
