न जातु ब्राह्मणो वाच्यो यदवाच्यं शचीपते ।
मनसा गोषु न द्रुह्येद्गोवृत्तिर्गोनुकम्पकः ॥२१॥

21. na jātu brāhmaṇo vācyo yadavācyaṁ śacīpate ,
manasā goṣu na druhyedgovṛttirgonukampakaḥ.

21. O lord of Śacī (Indra), a brahmin should never be spoken of in any way that is forbidden or improper. One should not bear ill-will towards cows, even in thought; one should emulate the gentle nature of a cow and be compassionate towards cows.
