महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-72, verse-22

सत्ये धर्मे च निरतस्तस्य शक्र फलं शृणु ।
गोसहस्रेण समिता तस्य धेनुर्भवत्युत ॥२२॥
22. satye dharme ca niratastasya śakra phalaṁ śṛṇu ,
gosahasreṇa samitā tasya dhenurbhavatyuta.
22. satye dharme ca nirataḥ tasya śakra phalam śṛṇu
go-sahasreṇa samitā tasya dhenuḥ bhavati uta
22. śakra satye ca dharme nirataḥ tasya phalam śṛṇu
uta tasya dhenuḥ go-sahasreṇa samitā bhavati
22. O Śakra, hear the result for one who is devoted to truth and natural law (dharma). Verily, his cow becomes equal to a thousand cows.
