महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-72, verse-13

न पारदारी पश्यति लोकमेनं न वै गुरुघ्नो न मृषाप्रलापी ।
सदापवादी ब्राह्मणः शान्तवेदो दोषैरन्यैर्यश्च युक्तो दुरात्मा ॥१३॥
13. na pāradārī paśyati lokamenaṁ; na vai gurughno na mṛṣāpralāpī ,
sadāpavādī brāhmaṇaḥ śāntavedo; doṣairanyairyaśca yukto durātmā.

13. An adulterer does not see this world, nor indeed a slayer of his preceptor, nor one who speaks falsehoods. Also, a Brahmin who is always a slanderer, whose Vedic knowledge is neglected, and a wicked soul who is endowed with other faults (does not see this world).
