त्यजन्ति दारान्प्राणांश्च मनुष्याः प्रतिपूजिताः ।

49. Highly revered individuals forsake their wives and their very lives. Moreover, (virtues like) fostering good relations with creatures, giving (dāna), and sweet speech (vāk) are also (practiced by them).
