महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-38, verse-24

प्रियार्थमपि चैतेषां ब्राह्मणानां महात्मनाम् ।
नियोगादस्य च गुरोर्व्यासस्यामिततेजसः ॥२४॥
24. priyārthamapi caiteṣāṁ brāhmaṇānāṁ mahātmanām ,
niyogādasya ca gurorvyāsasyāmitatejasaḥ.
24. priyārtham api ca eteṣām brāhmaṇānām mahātmanām
niyogāt asya ca guroḥ vyāsasya amita-tejasaḥ
24. api ca eteṣām mahātmanām brāhmaṇānām priyārtham
ca asya amita-tejasaḥ guroḥ vyāsasya niyogāt
24. And also for the sake of the pleasure of these great-souled Brahmins, and by the command of this teacher (guru) Vyasa, who possesses immeasurable splendor.
