महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-322, verse-18

धार्मिको नित्यभक्तश्च पितॄन्नित्यमतन्द्रितः ।
साम्राज्यं तेन संप्राप्तं नारायणवरात्पुरा ॥१८॥
18. dhārmiko nityabhaktaśca pitṝnnityamatandritaḥ ,
sāmrājyaṁ tena saṁprāptaṁ nārāyaṇavarātpurā.

18. He was righteous, ever-devoted (bhakta), and always vigilant in his duties towards the ancestors (pitṛ). He obtained sovereignty (sāmrājya) in ancient times through a boon from Nārāyaṇa.
