महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-312, verse-43

पादशौचं तु कृत्वैव शुकः संध्यामुपास्य च ।
निषसादासने पुण्ये तमेवार्थं विचिन्तयन् ॥४३॥
43. pādaśaucaṁ tu kṛtvaiva śukaḥ saṁdhyāmupāsya ca ,
niṣasādāsane puṇye tamevārthaṁ vicintayan.
43. pādaśaucam tu kṛtvā eva śukaḥ saṃdhyām upāsya ca
| niṣasāda āsane puṇye tam eva artham vicintayan
43. śukaḥ pādaśaucam kṛtvā eva ca saṃdhyām upāsya tu

43. Indeed, after performing foot ablutions and worshipping the twilight (saṃdhyā) ritual, Shuka sat down on a sacred seat, deeply contemplating that very same subject.
