महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-25, verse-4

कां गतिं नु गमिष्यामि त्वया हीना जनेश्वर ।
दूरबन्धुरनाथेव अतीव मधुरस्वरा ॥४॥
4. kāṁ gatiṁ nu gamiṣyāmi tvayā hīnā janeśvara ,
dūrabandhuranātheva atīva madhurasvarā.
4. kām gatim nu gamiṣyāmi tvayā hīnā janeśvara
dūrabandhuḥ anāthā iva atīva madhurasvarā
4. janeśvara tvayā hīnā dūrabandhuḥ anāthā iva
atīva madhurasvarā kām gatim nu gamiṣyāmi
4. O lord of people, deprived of you, what destiny indeed shall I attain? I shall become like an orphan, with distant relatives and no protector, despite my exceedingly sweet voice.
