महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-25, verse-15

द्रोणेन द्रुपदं संख्ये पश्य माधव पातितम् ।
महाद्विपमिवारण्ये सिंहेन महता हतम् ॥१५॥
15. droṇena drupadaṁ saṁkhye paśya mādhava pātitam ,
mahādvipamivāraṇye siṁhena mahatā hatam.

mahādvipam iva araṇye siṃhena mahatā hatam
15. mādhava paśya droṇena saṃkhye pātitaṃ drupadaṃ

15. O Mādhava, behold Drupada struck down in battle by Droṇa, like a great elephant slain in the forest by a mighty lion.
