महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-25, verse-24

पितरं नूनमाजिस्थं युध्यमानं परैः सह ।
नाजहात्पृष्ठतो वीरमद्यापि मधुसूदन ॥२४॥
24. pitaraṁ nūnamājisthaṁ yudhyamānaṁ paraiḥ saha ,
nājahātpṛṣṭhato vīramadyāpi madhusūdana.
24. pitaram nūnam ājistham yudhyamānam paraiḥ saha
na ājahāt pṛṣṭhataḥ vīram adyāpi madhusūdana
24. madhusūdana,
nūnam (abhimanyuḥ) pitaram na ājahāt,

24. O Madhusūdana (Krishna), surely this hero (Abhimanyu) did not abandon his father who was standing in battle, fighting with enemies, not even from behind, not even now.
