शकुन्तलोवाच ।
राजन्सर्षपमात्राणि परच्छिद्राणि पश्यसि ।
आत्मनो बिल्वमात्राणि पश्यन्नपि न पश्यसि ॥१॥

1. Shakuntala said: 'O King, you see others' faults, even those as small as mustard seeds. Yet, even seeing your own faults, which are as large as Bilva fruits, you do not perceive them.'
