महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-122, verse-37

नाश्रोत्रियः श्रोत्रियस्य नारथी रथिनः सखा ।
नाराजा पार्थिवस्यापि सखिपूर्वं किमिष्यते ॥३७॥
37. nāśrotriyaḥ śrotriyasya nārathī rathinaḥ sakhā ,
nārājā pārthivasyāpi sakhipūrvaṁ kimiṣyate.
37. na aśrotriyaḥ śrotriyasya na arathī rathinaḥ sakhā
na arājā pārthivasya api sakhipūrvam kim iṣyate
37. A non-śrotriya is not the friend of a śrotriya, nor is a non-charioteer the friend of a charioteer. Neither is a non-king a king's friend. What sort of prior friendship, then, is expected (between us)?
