महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-110, verse-37

प्रदाय सर्वं विप्रेभ्यः पाण्डुः पुनरभाषत ।
गत्वा नागपुरं वाच्यं पाण्डुः प्रव्रजितो वनम् ॥३७॥
37. pradāya sarvaṁ viprebhyaḥ pāṇḍuḥ punarabhāṣata ,
gatvā nāgapuraṁ vācyaṁ pāṇḍuḥ pravrajito vanam.
37. pradāya sarvam viprebhyaḥ pāṇḍuḥ punaḥ abhāṣata
gatvā nāgapuram vācyam pāṇḍuḥ pravrajitaḥ vanam
37. After giving away everything to the Brahmins, Pāṇḍu spoke again: 'Go to Nāgpur and announce that Pāṇḍu has renounced the world and gone to the forest (vana).'
