महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-110, verse-20

नाहं श्वाचरिते मार्गे अवीर्यकृपणोचिते ।
स्वधर्मात्सततापेते रमेयं वीर्यवर्जितः ॥२०॥
20. nāhaṁ śvācarite mārge avīryakṛpaṇocite ,
svadharmātsatatāpete rameyaṁ vīryavarjitaḥ.

20. I, devoid of valor, would not delight in a path trodden by dogs, which is suitable for the weak and wretched, and which is constantly deviated from one's own intrinsic nature (dharma).
