पाण्डुरुवाच ।
यदि व्यवसितं ह्येतद्युवयोर्धर्मसंहितम् ।
स्ववृत्तिमनुवर्तिष्ये तामहं पितुरव्ययाम् ॥२९॥

29. pāṇḍuruvāca ,
yadi vyavasitaṁ hyetadyuvayordharmasaṁhitam ,
svavṛttimanuvartiṣye tāmahaṁ pituravyayām.

29. pāṇḍuḥ uvāca yadi vyavasitam hi etat yuvayoḥ dharmasaṃhitam
svavṛttim anuvartiṣye tām aham pituḥ avyayām

29. Pandu said: 'If this resolve of you two is indeed in accordance with natural law (dharma), then I shall follow that imperishable conduct of my father.'

29. פָּאנְדוּ אמר, אם זו אכן החלטתכן, והיא עולה בקנה אחד עם דרך היושר, אלך גם אני בדרך החיים הבלתי נכחדת של אבי.
