महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-110, verse-36

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
इत्येवमुक्त्वा भार्ये ते राजा कौरववंशजः ।
ततश्चूडामणिं निष्कमङ्गदे कुण्डलानि च ।
वासांसि च महार्हाणि स्त्रीणामाभरणानि च ॥३६॥
36. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
ityevamuktvā bhārye te rājā kauravavaṁśajaḥ ,
tataścūḍāmaṇiṁ niṣkamaṅgade kuṇḍalāni ca ,
vāsāṁsi ca mahārhāṇi strīṇāmābharaṇāni ca.
36. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca iti evam uktvā bhārye
te rājā kaurava-vaṃśajaḥ tataḥ
cūḍāmaṇim niṣkam aṅgade kuṇḍalāni ca vāsāṃsi
ca mahā-arhāṇi strīṇām ābharaṇāni ca
36. Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus to those two wives, the king, a descendant of the Kuru dynasty, then gave them a crest-jewel, a necklace, armlets, and earrings, as well as very valuable garments and ornaments for women.
