योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-108, verse-10

स ब्रह्मण्यमतिर्मानी वह्निमेवाधिदैवतम् ।
अपूजयत्समं भक्त्या देव वेत्ति स्म नेतरम् ॥ १० ॥
sa brahmaṇyamatirmānī vahnimevādhidaivatam ,
apūjayatsamaṃ bhaktyā deva vetti sma netaram 10
10. saḥ brahmaṇya-matiḥ mānī vahnim eva adhidaivatam
apūjayat samam bhaktyā devam vetti sma na itaram

10. He, reverent and deeply devoted to Brahmins, worshipped Agni alone as his supreme deity. He knew no other god and worshipped with sincere devotion (bhakti).
