श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इति श्रुत्वा महीपालः कालक्षेपमवास्तवम् ।
मन्यमान उवाचेदं निर्गच्छन्वरमन्दिरात् ॥ २२ ॥

मन्यमान उवाचेदं निर्गच्छन्वरमन्दिरात् ॥ २२ ॥

iti śrutvā mahīpālaḥ kālakṣepamavāstavam ,

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Having heard this, the king, considering the delay improper, said this as he departed from the magnificent palace.
