योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-84, verse-8

स तथापि विशोकत्वं न मनागपि लब्धवान् ।
अनिधानां खनन्भूमिं निधानार्थी निधिं यथा ॥ ८ ॥
sa tathāpi viśokatvaṃ na manāgapi labdhavān ,
anidhānāṃ khananbhūmiṃ nidhānārthī nidhiṃ yathā 8
8. saḥ tathā api viśokatvam na manāk api labdhavān
anidhānām khanan bhūmim nidhānārthī nidhim yathā
8. tathā api saḥ viśokatvam manāk api na labdhavān,
anidhānām bhūmim khanan nidhānārthī nidhim yathā.
8. Still, he could not achieve even a trace of freedom from sorrow, like someone seeking a hidden treasure (nidhi) who digs in a place where no such treasure (nidhi) exists.
