The intricate workings (nemayaḥ) of the cycle of birth (saṃsāra) cannot be clarified by the ignorant (ajña). For them, the body (tanuḥ), driven by attachment (rāga) and for the gratification of greedy senses, is like prey to a hunter (mṛgayuṇā).
