योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-31, verse-52

क्षुभ्यन्तीव तु सा प्राणस्पन्दादित्यनुभूयते ।
सत्तामात्रस्वरूपेण जडेषु समवस्थिता ॥ ५२ ॥
kṣubhyantīva tu sā prāṇaspandādityanubhūyate ,
sattāmātrasvarūpeṇa jaḍeṣu samavasthitā 52
52. kṣubhyantī iva tu sā prāṇaspandāt iti anubhūyate
| sattāmātrasvarūpeṇa jaḍeṣu samavasthitā
52. tu sā prāṇaspandāt kṣubhyantī iva iti anubhūyate
jaḍeṣu sattāmātrasvarūpeṇa samavasthitā
52. However, that [consciousness] is perceived as if agitated due to the vibration of the vital energy (prāṇa). It remains present in inert objects merely in the form of pure existence.
