योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-31, verse-36

चित्प्रकाशात्मिका नित्या स्वात्मन्येवावसंस्थिता ।
इदमन्तर्जगद्धत्ते सन्निवेशं यथा शिला ॥ ३६ ॥
citprakāśātmikā nityā svātmanyevāvasaṃsthitā ,
idamantarjagaddhatte sanniveśaṃ yathā śilā 36
36. citprakāśātmikā nityā svātmani eva avasaṃsthitā
idam antarjagat dhatte sanniveśam yathā śilā
36. nityā citprakāśātmikā svātmani eva avasaṃsthitā
idam antarjagat sanniveśam dhatte yathā śilā
36. This eternal, inherently luminous consciousness (citprakāśātmikā) is firmly established in its own intrinsic nature (ātman). It gives structure to this inner universe, just as a rock does.
