योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-86, verse-9

निस्पन्दमुत्थितौ वार्क्षी वृत्तिमाश्रित्य संस्थितौ ।
तस्थतुस्तौ तदा तत्र तावत्कालं तरुव्रतौ ॥ ९ ॥
nispandamutthitau vārkṣī vṛttimāśritya saṃsthitau ,
tasthatustau tadā tatra tāvatkālaṃ taruvratau 9
9. niṣpandam utthitau vārkṣīm vṛttim āśritya saṃsthitau
| tasthatuḥ tau tadā tatra tāvat-kālam taru-vratau
9. tadā tau tatra tāvat-kālam niṣpandam utthitau vārkṣīm
vṛttim āśritya saṃsthitau taru-vratau tasthatuḥ
9. Then, those two stood there motionless, having adopted the unwavering manner of trees (taru-vrata), and remained in that state for such a long time.
