गम्भीरवागुवाचेदं मृगयूथान्मृगो यथा ॥ ३० ॥

bhāṣamāṇeṣu atha eteṣu jyeṣṭhaḥ bhrātā mahā-matiḥ |
gambhīra-vāk uvāca idam mṛga-yūthāt mṛgaḥ yathā ||

atha eteṣu bhāṣamāṇeṣu,
jyeṣṭhaḥ mahā-matiḥ bhrātā gambhīra-vāk idam uvāca,
yathā mṛgaḥ mṛga-yūthāt.
jyeṣṭhaḥ mahā-matiḥ bhrātā gambhīra-vāk idam uvāca,
yathā mṛgaḥ mṛga-yūthāt.
30.
While these (brothers) were thus speaking, the eldest brother, who was greatly intelligent, spoke this with a deep voice, just as a leading deer would (speak) from its herd.
