O Rama, by the very designation (abhidhānena) of "space and time" (deśakāla), what is being referred to (kathyate) is indeed (eva hi) a mental construct (saṅkalpa). This is because (yasmāt) it is due to the power (vaśāt) of that (saṅkalpa) that space and time (deśakālau) attain (gatau) their existence (sthitim).
