वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-99, verse-35

तच्छ्रुत्वा परमप्रीतो रामो धर्मभृतां वरः ।
विभीषणमुवाचेदं वाक्यज्ञो वाक्यकोविदम् ॥३५॥
35. tacchrutvā paramaprīto rāmo dharmabhṛtāṃ varaḥ ,
vibhīṣaṇamuvācedaṃ vākyajño vākyakovidam.
35. tat śrutvā paramaprītaḥ rāmaḥ dharmabhṛtām varaḥ
vibhīṣaṇam uvāca idam vākyajñaḥ vākyakovidam
35. tat śrutvā dharmabhṛtām varaḥ rāmaḥ paramaprītaḥ
vākyajñaḥ vākyakovidam vibhīṣaṇam idam uvāca
35. Having heard that, Rāma, the best among those who uphold natural law (dharma), was exceedingly pleased. Skilled in speech himself, he then spoke these words to the eloquent Vibhīṣaṇa.
