नात्मनः कामकारो ऽस्ति पुरुषो ऽयमनीश्वरः ।
इतश्चेतरतश्चैनं कृतान्तः परिकर्षति ॥१५॥

15. The individual self (ātman) has no free will; this person (puruṣa) is not his own master. Destiny (kṛtānta) drags him hither and thither.
