वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-110, verse-33

पतिसंयोगसुलभं वयो दृष्ट्वा तु मे पिता ।
चिन्तामभ्यगमद्दीनो वित्तनाशादिवाधनः ॥३३॥
33. patisaṃyogasulabhaṃ vayo dṛṣṭvā tu me pitā ,
cintāmabhyagamaddīno vittanāśādivādhanaḥ.

cintām abhyagamat dīnaḥ vittanāśāt iva adhanaḥ

33. Indeed, seeing my age, which was suitable for union with a husband, my father became distressed and consumed by anxiety, like a poor person after the loss of wealth.
