The evening twilight (sandhyā) lasts for three nāḍikās (approximately 72 minutes), commencing from when half of the Sun's disk has set. Similarly, the morning twilight (sandhyā) also lasts for three nāḍikās, concluding when half of the Sun's disk has risen.
