महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-92, verse-20

दुर्योधनं च त्वरितो विव्याधाष्टभिराशुगैः ।
प्रहसंश्चास्य चिच्छेद कार्मुकं रिपुभीषणम् ॥२०॥
20. duryodhanaṁ ca tvarito vivyādhāṣṭabhirāśugaiḥ ,
prahasaṁścāsya ciccheda kārmukaṁ ripubhīṣaṇam.
20. duryodhanam ca tvaritaḥ vivyādha aṣṭabhiḥ āśugaiḥ
prahasan ca asya ciccheda kārmukam ripubhīṣaṇam
20. tvaritaḥ duryodhanam aṣṭabhiḥ āśugaiḥ vivyādha
ca prahasan asya ripubhīṣaṇam kārmukam ciccheda
20. And swiftly, he pierced Duryodhana with eight fast-flying arrows. Laughing, he also cut his bow, which was terrifying to enemies.
