Indeed, Krishna (Kṛṣṇa) especially protected Arjuna (Pāṇḍava) from the unfailing missile (śakti). For that spear (śakti), if hurled, would have surely killed Arjuna (Kaunteya), just as a thunderbolt fells a tree.
