महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-157, verse-10

इति प्राज्ञः प्रज्ञयैतद्विचार्य घटोत्कचं सूतपुत्रेण युद्धे ।
अयोधयद्वासुदेवो नृसिंहः प्रियं कुर्वन्पाण्डवानां हितं च ॥१०॥
10. iti prājñaḥ prajñayaitadvicārya; ghaṭotkacaṁ sūtaputreṇa yuddhe ,
ayodhayadvāsudevo nṛsiṁhaḥ; priyaṁ kurvanpāṇḍavānāṁ hitaṁ ca.
10. iti prājñaḥ prajñayā etat vicārya
ghaṭotkacam sūtaputreṇa yuddhe
ayodhayat vāsudevaḥ nṛsiṃhaḥ
priyam kurvan pāṇḍavānām hitam ca
10. इति प्राज्ञः नृसिंहः वासुदेवः,
प्रज्ञया एतत् विचार्य,
पाण्डवानाम् प्रियम् हितम् च कुर्वन्,
युद्धे सूतपुत्रेण घटोत्कचम् अयोधयत्।
10. Thus, the wise (prājña) Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), a lion among men (nṛsiṃha), having considered this with his intellect (prajñā), engaged Ghaṭotkaca in battle against Karṇa (sūtaputra), thereby doing what was agreeable and beneficial for the Pāṇḍavas.
