महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-152, verse-43

तयोः समभवद्युद्धं तुमुलं नररक्षसोः ।
गदानिपातसंह्रादैर्भुवं कम्पयतोर्भृशम् ॥४३॥
43. tayoḥ samabhavadyuddhaṁ tumulaṁ nararakṣasoḥ ,
gadānipātasaṁhrādairbhuvaṁ kampayatorbhṛśam.

43. A tumultuous battle occurred between those two—the man and the demon—who were greatly shaking the earth with the crashing sounds of their mace-blows.
