महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-152, verse-28

तामापतन्तीं वेगेन गदां ज्वालाकुलां ततः ।
गदया ताडयामास सा गदा भीममाव्रजत् ॥२८॥

28. tāmāpatantīṁ vegena gadāṁ jvālākulāṁ tataḥ ,
gadayā tāḍayāmāsa sā gadā bhīmamāvrajat.

28. Then, with his own mace, he struck that fiery mace which was swiftly approaching. Despite being struck, that mace still went towards Bhima.
