महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-54, verse-3

शक्तीश्च विमलास्तीक्ष्णा गदाश्च परिघैः सह ।
प्रासान्परश्वधांश्चैव मुद्गरान्मुसलानपि ।
चिक्षिपुः समरे क्रुद्धाः फल्गुनस्य रथं प्रति ॥३॥

cikṣipuḥ samare kruddhāḥ phalgunasya rathaṁ prati.

3. Enraged in battle, they threw bright, sharp lances (śakti), maces, along with iron clubs (parigha), javelins (prāsa), battle-axes (paraśvadha), hammers (mudgara), and even pestles (musala) towards Arjuna's (phalguna) chariot.
