महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-106, verse-31

ततोऽर्जुनो जातमन्युर्वार्ष्णेयं वीक्ष्य पीडितम् ।
दुःशासनं शतेनाजौ नाराचानां समार्पयत् ।
ते तस्य कवचं भित्त्वा पपुः शोणितमाहवे ॥३१॥
31. tato'rjuno jātamanyurvārṣṇeyaṁ vīkṣya pīḍitam ,
duḥśāsanaṁ śatenājau nārācānāṁ samārpayat ,
te tasya kavacaṁ bhittvā papuḥ śoṇitamāhave.
31. tataḥ arjunaḥ jāta-manyuḥ vārṣṇeyam
vīkṣya pīḍitam duḥśāsanam śatena
ājau nārācānām samārpayat te tasya
kavacam bhittvā papuḥ śoṇitam āhave
31. tataḥ jāta-manyuḥ arjunaḥ pīḍitam vārṣṇeyam vīkṣya ājau śatena nārācānām duḥśāsanam samārpayat.
te āhave tasya kavacam bhittvā śoṇitam papuḥ.
31. Then, Arjuna, filled with anger (manyu), seeing the Vrishni hero (Krishna) distressed, struck Duḥśāsana in battle with a hundred iron arrows. Having pierced his armor, those arrows drank his blood on the battlefield.
