महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-247, verse-47

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा स भगवान्व्यासः पाण्डवनन्दनम् ।
जगाम तपसे धीमान्पुनरेवाश्रमं प्रति ॥४७॥
47. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamuktvā sa bhagavānvyāsaḥ pāṇḍavanandanam ,
jagāma tapase dhīmānpunarevāśramaṁ prati.
47. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca evam uktvā saḥ bhagavān vyāsaḥ
pāṇḍavanandanam jagāma tapase dhīmān punaḥ eva āśramam prati
47. Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus to the son of Pāṇḍu, that wise and revered Vyāsa returned to his hermitage (āśrama) for (practicing) austerity (tapas).
