जगाम तपसे धीमान्पुनरेवाश्रमं प्रति ॥४७॥

Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus to the son of Pāṇḍu, that wise and revered Vyāsa returned to his hermitage (āśrama) for (practicing) austerity (tapas).
